EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ross Clemons was born in Panama City, graduated from Bay High in 1982, and commissioned in the U.S. Army in 1986 as an Infantry Officer after graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He completed War College at the College Interarme de Defense in Paris and completed a master’s degree in history at the University of Florida.
Over the course of 25 years in the Army, he commanded units in the Infantry and Special Forces. He later served as a defense attaché on several tours of duty at U.S. embassies in Africa. He concluded his service with tours of duty at the Pentagon and at U.S. Africa Command, where he attained the rank of Colonel. He currently is the President and Owner of Clemons & Pierce, a Retirement Plans Group located on Harrison Avenue in downtown Panama City.
In 2011 he retired from the Army with his wife, Mindy, and two children to Panama City, Florida. They serve as Associate Staff with the Navigators Discipleship Ministry and are actively involved in teaching several Bible Studies downtown, at local military bases, and at their church. He serves on the Board of Directors at Panama City Rescue Mission.
As our former Executive Director has retired, Mr. Clemons has stepped down from the Board of Directors to lead us on our path to help the suffering in our community. He brings with him strong leadership skills in the private sector, the military, and his church. Please help us welcome Mr. Clemons and his family to Panama City Rescue Mission.
