The "Guild” consists of women of noble character, described in Proverbs 31 as having eager hands, being clothed with strength and dignity, and being wise and fearless, among other admirable traits.  They bring their wisdom, experience, spiritual gifts and ministry desires to aid the Mission in its endeavor to provide the highest quality and utmost effectiveness to addressing the challenges of disenfranchised women and their children served by Bethel Village.

The Guild meets twice every month, once in the morning, and now a second After Hours meeting will be held for women who are unable to attend in the mornings. Child care is provided at After Hours!

The Proverbs 31 Guild is an auxiliary extension of the leadership of the Panama City Rescue Mission.  Their major role is to provide for the needs of the Bethel Village Campus for women and single mothers with children.

The members of this “Guild” will be able to focus on an area that they have interest or experience in. Do you have strong community and business experience, or are you more focused on discipleship with individuals in need?  Are you a “planner,” or are you a “doer?” Do you like to focus on providing basic needs- such as food, clothing, and other basic human needs- or are you interested in assisting the Mission develop long-term funding for the “big picture” of our women’s and children’s ministry?  Whatever your strengths are, there is a place for you in our “Guild.”

Many of the women we reach out to don’t have a picture of what a “woman of noble character” is in their own lives.  Come be an example so that they might become that woman and show the light and strength of Christ to another in need someday.  We welcome you to come to a meeting and fellowship with us in order to decide if the Proverbs 31 Guild is right for you!
