Mission's Klothes for Kids Served 1,750 children (806 families) in 2011

It took the help of over 1,000 volunteers for the entire project as we collected and sorted clothes all summer at Liz and Jane’s Warehouse and then moved in to set up the store just days before the distribution began.   This year the Central Panhandle Fairgrounds hosted the distribution of  $104,250 worth of school uniforms, play clothes, underwear, and shoes with the help of over 150 volunteers per day for three days Klothes for Kids served 753 families (1,657 children), and that’s just during phase 1.   Phase 2 brought in an additional 53 families, raising our total to 1,750 children helped. Praise the Lord!
