To Volunteer:

The planning committee meets every week at the Rescue Mission. Our tasks include approaching potential designers, promoting the event, gathering donated items for auction, and planning the Festival down to the smallest detail. If you enjoy planning events or have a desire to solicit donations for our cause, please consider the planning committee.

Volunteers may also simply help with Festival week needs, such as helping set up trees, checking in guests, providing music, serving food, selling concession food, monitoring the auction and SO MUCH MORE.

Volunteers may also serve as hosts, by recruiting your friends to attend the gala, brunches or teas and taking the time to learn more about Bethel Village. At these events, guests have the opportunity to make a donation or pledge to help yearly operating expenses of Bethel Village.

To help with the Festival, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Tammy Russell, at 769-0783

To become a designer:

NEW! If interested in designing a tree, wreath/swag, gingerbread house, or centerpiece, please read carefully over the guidelines.  These GUIDELINES have changed, but this is to help maintain the integrity of your design..

Decorating Day is Nov 29, Time TBA  at the Marina Civic Center. You may bring a completed design or decorate your design on site.

When Festival of Trees is over, your item will be delivered to its new home.   Great care is taken in delivering these items and because traditional Christmas trees aren’t designed to be transported, these NEW requirements will ensure that your items do not bend, break or fall apart.

Designer Agreement Form, due Oct 15

Everyone is invited, but especially if you are designing a large tree, to attend one of two designer meetings:

Wed Oct 20 at 11:30 am or Thurs Oct 21 at 6 pm.

These meetings will help you understand how to make the new guidelines work for you, as well as learn some great NEW decorating tips from Interior Designer Michelle Beshearse.

We are holding the meetings at Bethel Village, 2533 Transmitter Rd, we are providing yummy food, and even offering tours of the home. So I know it will be worth it as we meet and greet with the staff and clients currently residing at the home. So, return your entry form as soon as possible, indicating which meeting you will attend.
