Design Guidelines:

If interested in designing a tree, wreath/swag, gingerbread house, or centerpiece, please read carefully over these guidelines.  The link to the form you need is at the bottom of this page.

Entries will be auctioned to the highest bidder.  At no time will final bid be reported to the designer. Artists understands that all proceeds benefit Bethel Village for Women and Children.

Entries will be accepted until exhibit spaces are filled. 

The Panama City Rescue Mission reserves the right to exclude any work deemed unsuitable for display.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DISPLAY

Trees must have a tree stand, and include an extension cord at least 6’ long (if it is a lighted entry). Please use only new lights to prevent fire hazards.

Wreaths and swags must have a hanging wire or string (no hooks, please).

Items needing to be returned (extension cords, sign holders etc) to the artist MUST BE CLEARLY LABELED and indicated on the back of your entry form. All items accepted will be handled with care, but Mission will not be responsible for loss or damage to any entry or item.

You will be notified of your entry location when you arrive to the VAC. Be aware your entry location may be changed by by Rescue Mission staff and volunteers after it has been set-up. 

Anything thrown on entries (such as artificial snow or birdseed) will not be permitted.

All ornaments must be securely fastened with wire (not ornament hooks).

Please do not use glass ornaments or other material that will easily break unless you provide boxes and packing material for the winning bidder to transport the tree.

Packing material must be left at the VAC, please label the boxes with your name/business name/group name.

AWARDS AND RIBBONS

A qualified panel will be chosen to judge the exhibit on portrayal of theme, originality and execution.

1st Place - Blue Ribbon; 2nd Place - Red Ribbon; 3rd Place –White Ribbon in each division and entry category.

A Best of Show Green Ribbon and grand prize will be awarded for the entry receiving the most votes from the viewers attending the exhibit.

Please make an attempt to retrieve your ribbon December 5th (Friday night) after bidding has ended.
