Panama City Rescue Mission has recently completed a renovation of the Men's Program Dorm. Thanks to all the businesses and individuals who helped during this process. They are listed to the left of this page.

The Dorm renovations began when Haney Technical Center students donated time and labor framing the area that would become the new showers, which would become a large task for Plumb Better to take on. Program students and staff have since been working with general contractor Jim Tatum to complete the necessary work.

Haney Technical students donated time to frame renovation area.

Materials were donated to help undercut the cost of the estimated $10,000 worth of work that needed to be done. One program student was able to keep his electric skills current by working on the project.

Other program students were able to learn a new trade, such as sheet rocking. Just one of the many looks the bathroom underwent as the renovation took place. Calhoun Carpet Outlet donated the needed flooring.

A program student steps back for a minute to survey work done to complete a new dorm room. Finished dorm room, which sleeps two students in recovery.

This is the newly refinished lounge area, a great area for students to relax after a hard day's work at the Mission.
